Acumatica – Configuration Guide
The latest enterprise resource planning solution release from Acumatica is designed to help customers like you innovate. Get the full story in this Mint Jutras report.
Configuring Acumatica
Acumatica does not offer a single, centrally shared OAuth app the way most connectors do. Every Acumatica instance — including your own test instance and each of your consumers' production instances — registers its own Connected Application. There is no Apideck-provided sandbox credential for this connector: Apideck Credentials are not available.
Get a test instance
Before connecting real consumers, register your own Connected Application against a test instance:
- Free local developer instance — download from builds.acumatica.com (Windows required, runs in 2-user demo mode).
- Cloud trial instance — available through the Acumatica Developer Network (ADN); free ADN Level 1 membership also includes Acumatica University training.
Register your Connected Application
Follow the same steps described in the Connection Guide — Integration page → Connected Applications → create an app with the Authorization Code flow, a Client Secret, and a Client ID. Set the Redirect URI to:
https://unify.apideck.com/vault/callback
Once registered, enter the Client ID, Client Secret, and your instance URL in Apideck Vault to connect your test instance, exactly as a consumer would connect their own.
Rolling out to consumers
Because each instance needs its own Connected Application, every consumer repeats this same registration in their own Acumatica instance before connecting — there is no app you register once on their behalf. Share the Connection Guide with them directly; Apideck's Vault connection form only needs the three fields they generate.
Going to market (optional)
Publishing on the Acumatica Marketplace is not required to build or ship this connector, but if you want a Marketplace listing you'll need ADN Level 2 (Certified) status, which involves a technical audit of your solution and Acumatica University developer training. Apply via the Acumatica Partner Program.
Rate limits
Acumatica enforces API limits per the consumer's own instance license tier, not per Apideck app — see the At a Glance tab for the headline numbers. If a consumer hits their limit, point them to the License Monitoring Console inside their own instance; only Acumatica can raise it, so Apideck Support can't help with a limit increase.
